An outstanding feature of this hydrangea is that it has magnificent pointed flower  panicles that are creamy-white when they first bloom in the beginning summer. From warm to cool, these luscious blooms will vary from pink and red from the bottom of the flower with white tips that resemble a French Manicure. 

Various pollinators will appear throughout your landscape as the blooms continue to change color. When fall approaches, the blooms dry and continue to stay on the shrub for winter. This shrub has an exceptional compact and well-branched form with its full-sized flowers with attention-grabbing blooms. 

The French Manicure™ is a delightful flowering shrub that grows up to 5 feet tall and 5 feet wide. It strives in full-sun but can tolerate partial shade. Also, its soil pH will not change the color of the French Manicure™ blooms. The hydrangea has a fast growth rate and can be readily pruned once a year in late winter or early spring to stimulate its ideal size and shape. Plant the hydrangea in embellished, well-drained soil with a 3-4 inch bed of mulch.

Another feature of this hydrangea is its long duration blooming season. The shrub usually begins to bloom in midsummer,and can last until fall and even possibly winter! The flowering shrub is perfect to use as a specimen plant and even add it to mixed border planting.
